Objective To develop an Exercise Behavior Perception Scale for Lung Cancer Patients in China, and to test its reliability and validity. Methods According to the health belief model, the first draft of the scale was formed through literature review,semi-structured interview, research group discussion,2 rounds of expert correspondence and pre-survey. A total of 842 patients with lung cancer who received treatment in a tertiary A hospital in Zhengzhou City from October 2022 to April 2023 were selected for investigation, and item analysis, validity analysis, and reliability analysis were applied to adjust the items to form a formal scale. Results The Exercise Behavior Perception Scale for Lung Cancer Patients contained 24 items, and exploratory factor analysis generated 6 common factors, including physical rehabilitation benefits, emotional and mental benefits, information disorders, disease symptom disorders, condition disorders, and psychological disorders. The cumulative variance contribution rate reached 73.916%,and the results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model fit was good, the χ2/df was 2.371,the root mean square error of approximation was 0.057,the normed fit index was 0.924,and the comparative fit index was 0.954,the scale score was moderately positively correlated with the total score of the Frenchay activities index (r=0.529,P<0.001). The Cronbach’s α,coefficient, half reliability, and retest reliability of the scale were 0.884,0.741,and 0.889,respectively. Conclusion The Exercise Behavior Perception Scale for Lung Cancer Patients had good reliability and validity, and it can be used to effectively evaluate the exercise behavior perception status of lung cancer patients.

Objective To analyze the prevalence and risk factors of 3 types of skin injuries in the elderly through multicenter cross-sectional survey,so as to provide bases for formulating prevention strategies for skin injuries in the elderly. Methods On March 31,2021,1 067 nurses from 50 hospitals in 16 provinces,2 autonomous regions and 2 municipalities included inpatients over 60 years old and inspected their skin from head to toes to identify pressure injury(PI),incontinence-associated dermatitis(IAD) and skin tear(ST),and meanwhile collected demographic, healthcare condition and PI risk assessment data. Statistical software was used for descriptive analysis,Pearson correlation analysis and logistic regression analysis. Results Totally,14 470 cases were obtained. The average age was(73.35±8.90) years old. The total prevalence of skin injuries was 6.69%,and the prevalence of PI,IAD and ST was 3.91%,1.89% and 0.89%,respectively. Logistic regression analysis showed that the risk of PI,inability of self-care,hypoproteinemia and anemia, comorbidity over 2 chronic diseases and ≥70 years old were the independent risk factors of PI in the elderly. The risk of PI,inability of self-care,hypoproteinemia,comorbidity over 2 chronic diseases, length of hospital stay≥8 days and the age of over 80 years were the independent risk factors of IAD in the elderly. The risk of PI and hypoproteinemia were independent risk factors of ST in the elderly. Conclusion Skin injuries of the hospitalized elderly are the result of multiple factors, while PI and IAD are the most typical ones, and the risk factors of different types of skin injuries are also different. When formulating prevention strategies,we should not only pay attention to the independent role of risk factors, but also consider the combined role of risk factors, take comprehensive preventive measures to improve the prevention effect.

Chinese Journal of Nursing    2020, 55 (2): 204-209.   DOI: 10.3761/j.issn.0254-1769.2020.02.008

Objective To develop a flexible allocation management platform for nurses in hospital and explore its effects of application in order to effectively allocate nurses human resources. Methods A research and development group as well as an expert team both including IT specialists were set up. An allocation model of nurses overtime working with hourly pay in different wards was proposed, and a revised draft of platform design was formed. It was developed and tested by professional IT specialists before being put on line. According to the inclusive criteria,220 nurses,18 head nurses and 2 administrators were included and authorized to use the platform for the allocation of nurses among departments in this hospital. Results The platform was formed with App terminal and PC terminal, including 3 entrances:administrator entrance, nurse entrance and head nurse entrance. After six-month application,105 nurses worked over-timely through the platform with a total of 1,295 hours. There were significant differences in the time and success rate of shift allocation(P<0.05) before and after the use of platform. There was no difference in the rate of adverse nursing events, compared with it of the same period in the previous year(P>0.05). Conclusion The platform can achieve nurse allocation crossing departments based on the wishes of nurses, and it can also increase the supply of nursing services, improve management efficiency and share in-hospital nursing human resources.

Chinese Journal of Nursing    2019, 54 (2): 188-193.   DOI: 10.3761/j.issn.0254-1769.2019.02.005

Objective To investigate the current situation of frailty and its influencing factors in elderly patients with diabetes so as to provide theoretical basis for clinical nursing intervention. Methods Totally 300 elderly patients with diabetes were selected from a tertiary hospital in Zhengzhou via convenience sampling method, and were investigated by self-designed general information questionnaire,TFI (Tilburg Frailty Indicator) and SDSCA(Scale of Diabetes Self-care Activities). Results Totally 296 valid questionnaires were collected. A total of 137 elderly patients with diabetes suffered from frailty and the prevalence was 46.3%. The mean score of total frailty was(5.26±2.87),and the scores for each dimension were as follows:physical frailty(2.79±2.08),psychological frailty(1.40±0.94)and social frailty(1.07±0.75). Multiple linear regression showed that comorbidity,self-management behavior, glycosylated hemoglobin, educational degree, polypharmacy and smoking were the major influential factors(P<0.05). Conclusion The prevalence of frailty in elderly patients with diabetes was at a high level, containing different degrees of physical, psychological and social frailty. Medical staff should attach great importance to the assessment of frailty among elderly patients with diabetes, take targeted and holistic interventions timely to prevent or delay the development of frailty.
